DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\, as Sadie Strong kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with our 8th Annual Sadie Strong Community Health & Wellness Expo! \nThis FREE community event will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northland Workforce Training Center\, 683 Northland Avenue\, Buffalo\, NY 14211. \nThis year’s theme\, “Reflection\, Relaxation & Rejuvenation\,” is all about taking time to focus on your health and well-being. Sadie Strong is bringing together local healthcare providers\, community organizations\, businesses\, and advocates to connect women\, men\, and families throughout the Buffalo Niagara Region with valuable health and wellness resources. \nGuests can enjoy health screenings\, flu shots\, HIV testing\, hands-only CPR training\, fitness and nutrition demonstrations\, health and advocacy resources\, community vendors\, giveaways\, and more. \nWe’re also excited to welcome Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and its EDDY (Early Detection Driven to You) mobile screening unit to this year’s Expo. EDDY will be onsite offering mammograms for women and prostate cancer screenings for men. Screenings may be available at free or reduced cost for those who qualify. \nAdvance registration is required for Roswell Park mobile screenings.
